Went to a park I haven't been to since my Daisy passed away 🥹![]()

I wanted to go somewhere quiet as the darling husband is in Adelaide for the AC/DC concert. ![]()

I used to take Kubo and Daisy to this park and we met a man with an old, old scruffer named Buster. They were the funniest, odd couple and Buster's dad was devoted.![]()

Buster was a funny old boy. Kubo loved him. Each time we saw him Kubo would gently go up and give him kisses. Buster would pretend to be grumpy, but he did butt wiggle each time he saw us 😍![]()

It's been over 2 years since I've been there. Last time I saw Buster, he didn't have much time left on this Earth 😞![]()

He had a phenomenal teacher in The Queen - Daisy. She was a massive influence in his life. He was 3 when she left this world and she did her job brilliantly 💗![]()

My Daisy didn't take any crap from Kubo - at all. She was a little weirdo, but she was a phenomenal teacher for him. I loved her so much 💗![]()

She taught Kubo respect for tiny dogs. Cumin and Wasabi have continued that teaching.![]()

It's a mutual feeling of respect and love. Piper has also earned both Cumin and Wasabi's affection too.![]()

Wasabi makes you work for her respect. Piper has finally done so.![]()

Now this didn't happen over night. I advocated for each dog. I made sure each dog felt they were successful. I made sure each dog knew they were safe. I watched the boundaries.![]()

You want to take them in for some fussing and treats and a pop on the weigh station.![]()

This morning my 9am class kicked goals out to the stratosphere 👊![]()

I had an ex racing Greyhound come from a very hard background find his confidence in class this morning 💕. ![]()

He was flat out snoring by the end - NOT boredom people... He was so relaxed he nearly sunk into the ground 😍![]()

I had all the dogs working beautifully - wanting to be with their person. It was magic.![]()

I then met a young dog and her beautiful family after class for an intensive session .![]()
![]()
This little lady came from a horrific background - backyard fighting dogs - her mother was used as a fighting dog 😞![]()

Had part one of an intensive session with them today to layer up communication, bring in engagement and most importantly - impulse control.![]()

She crushed it. Her family has given her a fabulous foundation to work with and build on.![]()

I like watching dog training videos - I don't need her getting up close and personal to the screen, nor do I need nose art on the screen 🤣![]()

I simply have her on a light slip lead while I have a video on. This gives me complete control to stop the rushing.![]()

She learns that rushing is inappropriate and relaxing is best way forward 💗![]()
